LENA LOTTSFELDT
Lena's life has been surrounded by horses, and she was also surrounded by art by her parents, both artist in their way. They where both talented creatives and taught Lena the possibility to express herself in many different mediums and her mom put a camera in her hands so that she could try to capture what she saw.
Lena has always been practicing art of some kind her whole life.
Lena dreamt of becoming a professional equestrian and tried to pursue it, but due to injuries she had to rethink that idea. She abandoned that horse world and followed her need to create, ending up in Los Angeles studying acting. Lena later came back to Europe and back to the horses. as did her focus in her art.
Lena creates horses that are full of characters and their expressions visible. Be it the strong graceful dressage horse loving to dance, a fast Polo Pony chasing the ball with their rider, or a foal playing in the field , the importance is showing their will to be with us and the trust and love they give us. She does this in many different mediums, but mainly works in acrylic and oil, however she loves spending time surrounded by horses with a camera In hand, always searching for moments she wants to express or portray,
Lena was born in Partille (Sweden), but has since moved around a lot and is currently situated in Wellington , FL (USA) where she and her husband live with their two Rhodesian Ridgeback boys.
